Statement of the The Omnigma Organization on the defects of the political system in the united states |

Members of our organization have been registered and consistently voted in every election since at least 1971. However, after years of careful participation in and observation of the process, our organization has nothing but contempt for the political system in the united states. It is completely controlled by massive amounts of unethical money corrupting the election process. The absurd duopoly system and electoral college disenfranchise millions of voters and ensure that true democracy is thwarted. Unlike the united states, civilized nations discarded the crippled, money-owned two-party system for multi-party, ranked choice voting or similar much fairer and honest systems. We have seen many organizations which are chartered as religious non-profit that illegally, openly push partisan candidates and ballot measures with impunity and none of them have lost their tax-free status. We see dishonest politicians making false conspiracy theory claims of massive election fraud that have been proven lies by audits. We see outright lies being pushed by right-wing fanatics in campaign speeches, in ads, on the media and on the internet. We will continue to vote responsibly for honest politicians and ballot measures (whenever we can find any on the ballot). But, I dare you to give me a convincing reason why we should have any faith or trust in this failed, unfair political system. | |
